(VOVworld) – Nguyen Ngoc Son, the Vietnamese Ambassador to France, recalled the arduous but glorious struggle undertaken by the Vietnamese people for national liberation from 1945 to 1975.

Speaking at a seminar in France’s Malakoff city on Saturday, Ambassador Son said that the sound leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam has unified the Vietnamese people and won the support of peace-lovers around the world.

He spotlighted Vietnam’s great achievements Vietnam since it began its renewal process in 1986.

The seminar, co-organized by the Vietnamese Embassy and the Léo Figuères’ Friends Association, marked the 40th anniversary of Vietnam’s Southern Liberation and National Reunification and the 125th birthday of late President Ho Chi Minh.
