Workshop on Party building opens
(VOVworld) - A national conference opened in Ho Chi Minh City today/ on Thursday to discuss the implementation of a Party Resolution on urgent issues related to in Party building.
The main speeches at the meeting focused on analyzing the causes, and solutions to prevent an erosion of political ideology, morality, as well as the life styles of some Party members. They also highlighted a spirit of criticism and self-criticism, staff training, and the role of the organization in driving back the falling number of state servants and party members. The participants also put forward several practical solutions to realize the resolution with a focus on criticism and self-criticism and the setting of examples by higher authorities. Doctor Nguyen Duc Ha, Head of the Communist Party Grassroots Division at the Organizational Department of the Central Committee, says ‘Criticism and self-criticism needs to be thorough from grassroots to central levels and applied to collectives first and then to individuals. Self-criticism brings out people’s strong points, and shortcomings’.
