CPV’s 82nd anniversary observed in Ho Chi Minh city

(VOVWorld)-HCM city on Wednesday celebrate the 82nd anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (Feb.3). Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Le Thanh Hai said that the inception of the Party created a crucial turning point in the Vietnamese revolutionary. Under the Party’s brilliant leadership, Vietnamese people have surmounted myriads of hardships and challenges to achieve national liberation and independence, and are now enjoying the fruit of the renewal process.
Mr. Hai said: “The achievements and experiences gained as well as renewed trust and determination will provide the stepping stone for HCM city to overcome any difficulties in 2012. The local Party Committee and people should make an all-out effort to implement resolutions and measures adopted.”
The same day, a high-level delegation led by Secretary Le Thanh Hai paid tribute to President HCM and President Ton Duc Thang, a staunch communist and a role model of Vietnam’s working class.
