Kramer said during one-week visit they will work with Vietnamese partners to boost trade and investment cooperation between Mercosur members and Vietnam.

Kramer spoke highly of Vietnam’s socio-economic achievements in recent years, adding that the representative office of Mercosur Chamber of Commerce which opened in Hanoi a year ago has contributed remarkably to the exchange of trade between the two sides.

Kramer said on top of traditional products including cattle-feed, leather, vegetable oil, cereals, and cotton, Vietnam is in high demand of meat, fruits, dinner wine,  sterilized milk, and pharmaceutical products from Argentina. Meanwhile Argentina wants to import Vietnam’s coffee. But he insisted that Vietnam should change product designs to match South American market.
