The President said his 2-day visit beginning on Tuesday will consolidate mutual trust and deepen bilateral friendship cooperation in line with the two countries’ leaders agreement on fostering good neighborliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation and long term sustainability. He praised both countries’ sacrifices for national liberation and independence, considering the tradition a valuable asset for future generations. He said as members of the ASEAN, Vietnam and Cambodia need to strengthen cooperation and promote mutual understanding to boost tourism, telecom, banking, oil and gas joint projects.
