Vietnam commits to control antibiotic usage

(VOVworld) – Vietnamese Health Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien attended a meeting of Asian Health Ministers on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) in Tokyo, Japan, on 16th April.

Mrs. Tien affirmed Vietnam’s commitment to work closely with other countries on antimicrobial resistance.
The delegates issued a statement on antimicrobial resistance including commitments to develop a medical system of quick response capability and enhance international cooperation on this matter.
