Vietnamese scientists attend GYSS 2015

(VOVworld) – The Global Young Scientists Summit (GYSS) will take place from January 19-23 in Singapore.

Themed “Advancing Science, Creating Technologies for a Better World”, the summit will be attended by 20 eminent science and technology leaders including Nobel Laureates and other prize winners, who will participate in lectures, panel discussions, and public dialogues on hot science and technology topics. Vietnamese Professor of Mathematics and Fields Medalist Ngo Bao Chau and three female scientists will attend the event.

The summit provides a forum for ideas and studies that apply science and technology to challenges facing big cities. 55 proposals were submitted and nine finalists have been selected. Final presentations will be made to a panel of judges on the last day of the summit on January 23. The winning projects will receive 100,000 USD.
