Special award added to VOV’s 2020 “What do you know about Vietnam?” contest
(VOVWORLD) - The “What do you know about Vietnam?” contest, held by the Voice of Vietnam every 5 years, is back with new things to surprise VOV's audience.
The 2020 contest, which coincides with many important events in Vietnam and VOV, is open to foreigners and overseas Vietnamese around the world.
“In addition to traditional questions, there are open questions for the audience to demonstrate their knowledge of and sentiments toward Vietnam and VOV,” said Mr. Nguyen Tien Long, VOVWORLD Director.
The 3 top contestants will win a free 5-day trip to Vietnam.
The deadline for entries has been extended to July 31, 2020 instead of July 15, 2020.
The best entries will also be sent to the 6th National External Information Service Award which will run until June 15, 2020.
As this year’s contest takes place amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the organizers will award a special prize for the most impressive story or an impressive slogan about Vietnam’s success in the COVID-19 fight.
