APEC 2017 Food Security Week in Can Tho
(VOVWORLD) -In the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho, the APEC 2017 Food Security Week continued with the Climate Symposium on Building Resilient Agro-Food Systems From Production to Consumption – Interdisciplinary Approaches for Sustainable Food Security Using Climate Information.

The delegates further debated challenges for water and food security in the context of climate change in the APEC region, and agricultural biotechnology. A capacity building workshop looked at food losses and waste reduction for a sustainable APEC food system.
