The dialogue took place in the framework of the 2017 APEC Food Security Week and a High-Level Policy Dialogue on Enhancing Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture in Response to Climate Change, in Ho Chi Minh City.

A policy dialogue between APEC Ministers and CEOs on the same topic was also held in the Mekong Delta City of Can Tho.
