A month before the holiday, tours of Sa Pa, Hạ Long, Phú Quốc, Đà Nẵng, and Đà Lạt were fully booked. Vietravel expects to serve 15,000 customers while the Dat Viet Tour has 10,000 visitors booked for 160 tours. Phan Thiết, Nha Trang, Ninh Thuan, Quy Nhơn and the Central Highlands are the most popular destinations.

In the north, the number of tour bookings has increased sharply. Hanoitourist saw an increase of 30-40%. More than 4,000 tourists have booked tours with Flamingo Redtours. During the upcoming 4-day holiday, hotels and resorts of the Flamingo Redtours will receive 10,000 visitors.

The increase of tourists is partly due to 5-20% reduction of tour prices this year. Lao Cai province is offering 10-70% discounts on admission tickets, hotel rooms, food and drinks, and gifts. All rooms in the province are fully booked for the upcoming holiday. Ha Van Thang, Director of the Lao Cai Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, said, 'Lao Cai province wants to ensure the safety of tourists and offer them the best products to strengthen the brand names of local tourism. We’re proud that Lao Cai is currently ranked 4th among Vietnam’s 15 most attractive destinations, according to the Tourism Council.'

Ha Long city will organize 18 cultural and tourism events next weekend. Activities will include the opening ceremonies of Hoi Gai beach and the Tuan Chau Golf course, and a Ha Long Wonder Convergence Art Program. The Ha Long Carnival festival will be the highlight of the events.

Pham Ngoc Thuy, Director of the Quang Ninh Tourism Department, said, 'We’re preparing carefully to receive tourists. We have inspected safety and disease prevention at hotels and restaurants to ensure that visitors enjoy safe trips.'

Vietnamese tourism is rebounding after being shut down by the COVID-19 pandemic.
