Pha Din Pass flowers blossom during the early days of 2024
(VOVWORLD) - Pha Din Pass in Son La Province is famous as one of the “Four Great Passes” which are the longest, most dangerous and majestic in northwest Vietnam. Other passes include OQuy Ho, Khau Pha, and MaPi Leng. In the early days of 2024, wildflowers in the Pha Din Tourist Area blossomed, attracting a large number of tourists.

The Pha Din Top Tourist Area, which is always blanketed with flowers, has become one of the most popular destinations in the northwest. The most unique flower blooming at this time of year is the cherry blossom. The dark pink color of the flowers, mixed with the tender buds, makes the Pha Din tourist area warmer.
Adding to cherry blossoms are colorful peach blossoms and myrtle flowers. On sunny days, the purple color of myrtle flowers is even more brilliant.

Ms. Bui Hoai Linh, Deputy Director of the Pha Din Tourism Cooperative, said: “The Pha Din Top tourist area is the highest point in Pha Din Pass. Here, nature is blessed with a most favorable climate for growing flowers. This is also a unique characteristic of the tourist area. Many types of flowers grow here, such as cherry blossoms, myrtle flowers, and purple lavender. In addition, there are seasonal flowers such as roses and chrysanthemums”
Tran Ngoc Quan, a visitor from Hanoi, said: “Stopping on Pha Din Pass, I had an opportunity to enjoy the wonderful scenery and atmosphere. Cherry blossoms generally symbolize the land of the rising sun, but here the cherry blossoms are very beautiful and abundant. I feel very happy. I will introduce the majestic and beautiful natural scenery of Pha Din pass to my friends and relatives.”

In the Pha Din Top Tourist Area, there are many small eye-catching attractions, suitable for young people to take check-in photos. These include Love Bridge, plus statues with hand shapes and crescent moon shapes. This site has become an attractive sightseeing and experience destination for tourists every time they visit Son La Province.
