Three Vietnamese make Forbes “30 Under 30 Asia” list

(VOVWORLD) - Three Vietnamese entrepreneurs have been honored by inclusion in Forbes’ annual “30 Under 30 Asia” list. The list features young entrepreneurs, leaders, and change makers across Asia who are under the age of 30.

Nghiem Xuan Huy is co-founder and CEO of Finhay, one of the top 10 start-ups of 2017 at the annual start-ups and innovation competition Techfest. Finhay has attracted millions of dollars from global investors, including Insignia Venture Partners, H2 Ventures, and Acorns. In 2018, Finhay was selected, along with 24 other startups, to join a training program organized by the Start-up and Innovation Hub. Last year, it won 2nd prize – 3,000 USD – at Fintech Summit 2019, co-organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Vietnam Silicon Valley, and the South Korean financial group Welcome. Last year, Finhay was named one of the world’s top 100 fintech companies.

Han Ngoc Tuan Linh is co-founder and CEO of Vietnam Silicon Valley Capital (VSV), a 7-million-USD accelerator that invests in world-class early-stage start-ups in Vietnam. VSV has taken the lead in promoting businesses by funding 40 startups and organizing training for more than 300 investors and business founders.

Nguyen Thi Ngoc Huyen is the founder of the medical technology start-up Medlink Asia, which connects producers, distributors, and consumers together in a pharmaceuticals sector eco-system. Medlink won third prize at Techfest 2018 and first prize at Vietchallenge 2019, an annual worldwide competition for Vietnamese whose final round is held at Harvard and MIT.

The Forbes “30 Under 30 Asia” were chosen from 3,500 nominees in 22 countries and territories.
