(VOVworld)- A supervision delegation of the National Assembly Standing Committee and National Electoral Council, led by Deputy Chairman of the National Electoral Council, Nguyen Thien Nhan, met with Vung Tau city election committee to review preparations for the upcoming  elections. Following its 3^rd consultative meeting, Vung Tau has 65 candidates for city People’s Council election and 776 candidates for communal level election.

In related news, The National Electoral Council’s Security Sub Committee held its 3^rd session on Friday to update social security and order relating to the upcoming elections. Deputy National Assembly Chairman and Head of the Sub Committee, Do Ba Ty, chaired the meeting. Delegates discussed issues regarding social security and order and future tasks for the sub committee.
