(VOVworld) – The 10^th Asia Media Summit opened in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia attracting the participation of more than 500 representatives from 50 countries and territories.

Under the theme “Media and Diversity: Enriching the Broadcasting Experience”, the summit is an opportunity for broadcasters to share their experiences on media diversity in the modern age. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Director of the Asia Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD), Yang Binyuan, said that the summit has encouraged diverse development through different methods. At the summit, media experts will have an open dialogue channel on diversification methods and their impacts on, and prospects for development strategies for the sustainable development of the broadcasting sector.

A delegation from the Voice of Vietnam led by VOV Deputy Director Vu Hai also attended the event.
