Vietnam ’s annual Poetry Day has opened in the Temple of Literature in Ha Noi with similar events taking place  in 10 other cities and provinces. The 10^th Poetry Day will have both domestic and international corners for Vietnamese and foreign poets. The event organizer, poet Nguyen Quang Thieu, expects the festival to bring poetry closer to the audience:“We are proud of this traditional modern festival. 10 representatives from cities and provinces will bring here their finest value of poetry as a cultural heritage.”
