155 more Vietnamese workers in Libya arrive in Egypt

(VOVworld) – Another 155 Vietnamese workers employed in Libya by Korea’s Hyundai Engineering & Construction Company were airlifted to Egypt on Tuesday. They were all in good physical and mental condition. 5 of them boarded an Egypt Airlines flight the same day to return to Vietnam. The last 69 of the 682 workers sent to Libya by the Vietnam Manpower Supply and Commercial Joint Stock Company (Vinamex) were flown to Cairo on Wednesday where they joined another 150 workers on commercial flights home.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Egypt has deployed staff to Cairo International Airport where they are coordinating with Huyndai E&C and Vinamex to provide Vietnamese workers relief supplies and assistance in entry-exit procedures.
