(VOVworld) – The Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor convened its 16^th conference in Hanoi on Tuesday. Delegates reviewed 5 years of the action program on gender equality for the 2011-2015 period and discussed plans for the next 5 years. Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Mai Duc Chinh briefed participants on programs to care for workers’ lives. He said that roughly 50 million USD had been raised to help workers have a happy Tet.
