(VOVworld) - The 2015 Hoi An – Japan Culture Exchange Program closed in Hoi An Saturday. The 13^th occurrence of the annual program included traditional activities like anime and manga cosplay, Yosakoi dance, Kirigami paper-craft, Yukata photography, Haiku poems display, and a Hoi An night involving telescopes.

Nguyen Van Dung, chairman of the Hoi An municipal People’s Committee, said: "The exchange gave us many opportunities to address issues of economic development between Hoi An and its partner cities, in addition to cultural cooperation. This was a perfect opportunity for Japanese people to learn more about Hoi An."
As part of the event, a handicraft and carpentry skill competition was held at the An Hoi Statue Garden.
