A humanitarian gala performance for children with difficulties took place in Hanoi on Sunday. Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan praised the support for children, including free surgeries of eye and heart deformities, scholarships and children milk program:“I am pleased to see our humanitarian activities have reached border and island areas across the country. This has enlightened children smile. I’d like to thank the donors at home and abroad for their support to children over the past years.”

The Vice President presented gifts to 30 children from Vinh Phuc and Bac Giang provinces. Vietnam Fund for Children has received more than 25 billion dong from more than a hundred organizations and businesses on this occasion.
