(VOVworld) - Minister of Construction Trinh Dinh Dung told the press about 40,000 houses now made available for nearly 200,000 low income people. He explained that delays in social housing project were due to their capital intensive and long-term strategy, which required more socialization to generate funding more quickly. Minister Dung suggests solutions to speed up social housing projects: “We need to fine-tune housing law and regulations to facilitate social housing development. Central and local agencies must cooperate in their social housing development plan as part of 5 year plan and annual work. Provinces must prepare land available for developers to facilitate their business.”
