Entitled “The 4th industrial revolution and issues facing Vietnam’s socio-economic development”, the event focused on the need to clarify the revolution’s impacts on developing countries and international experience in developing government action plans, particularly regarding the adjustment of national socio-economic development strategies and policies towards industry.

Binh said: “Scientists, experts, and managers have explained the opportunities and challenges, advantages and disadvantages for Vietnam in dealing with the impact of the 4th industrial revolution. They have proposed directions and policies for each sector and field so that Vietnam can make full use of opportunities, overcome the challenges, narrow the gap with developed nations, and quickly realize the goal of becoming an industrialized nation. ”
