8th Buddhist Sangha National Congress to take place in Hanoi
(VOVWORLD) -More than 1,200 delegates will attend the 8th national congress of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in Hanoi on November 21-22.

A press briefing on Monday revealed that the congress will approve amendments to the VBS charter and elect a new Executive Council. The SBV has outlined 9 goals for the next tenure, including strengthening unity and preserving Vietnamese Buddhist values.
