Actvities to mark 5 years of Vietnam ethnic minority cultural day
(VOVworld) – The 5th Vietnam ethnic minority cultural day will take place next Tuesday in the culture and tourism village of the ethnic minorities.
The week-long event aims to honor and introduce the cultural values of these groups to domestic and foreign visitors. Lam Van Khang, deputy general director of the village, said: "This year, we’ll introduce the cuisine typical of 3 regions of Vietnam. The highlights of the event are traditional dishes from the different areas. Over 6 days, there will be 4 performances where representatives from ethnic groups will introduce their food to visitors".
On this occasion, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will cooperate with the villages to organize a workshop to review the 5 years of implementation of the Prime Minister’s decision on Vietnam’s ethnic minority cultural day.
