Afghan President Hamid Karzai on Sunday accused the Taliban and the US of “shaking hands with each other” to convince Afghans that violence will worsen if most foreign troops leave by conducting secret meetings in Qatar. He said that Taliban’s suicide bombings in recently show the insurgent group is conducting attacks to demonstrate that international forces will still be needed to keep the peace after their current combat mission ends in 2014. However, both US and Taliban have denied this information. President Hamid Karzai has pointed out a road map to persuade Taliban and many other rebel groups to agree on a ceasefire. However, Taliban announced not to rely on Afghanis government since it said that the government is controlled by US.
