President Hamid Karzai is due to arrive in the US on Tuesday for a visit that is drawing public attention since its focus is Afghanistan’s security after US combat troops leave in 2014. The Afghani President’s Office said Karzai will hold meet with President Obama and other senior officials to discuss the transition, strengthening Afghani forces, and bilateral security agreements between Afghanistan and the US (BSA), which could involve the presence of US troops in Afghanistan for several more years.
