(VOVworld) – Air France’s pilot union (SNPL) announced Sunday that it has ended the longest strike in the airlines’ history paving the way for talks between the union and Air France’s board of directors on the future of the airlines’ low-cost subsidiary Transavia. French Prime Minister Manual Valls called for the resumption of operations of both Air France and Transavia. The strike has cost Air France more than 200 million euros in last 2 weeks.
