ISNA news agency cited the airlines’ statement that given the special circumstances of the region, rescue teams still have no access to the spot of the crash and therefore cannot accurately and definitely confirm the death of all passengers of this plane.

Aseman Airlines earlier reported that the ATR 72 twin-engine turboprop crashed due to bad weather into the Dena Mountain near Semirom town, Isfahan province, 620 km south of Tehran. 60 passengers, including 1 child and the flight crew of 6, were reported dead.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Natanyahu has sent his condolences to Iranian citizens and the victims’ families.
