Ambassador: Vietnam-South Korea ties prosper

(VOVWORLD) - The relationship between Vietnam and South Korea has grown in all aspects since diplomatic ties were established more than 25 years ago, said Vietnamese Ambassador to South Korea Nguyen Vu Tu.

Speaking ahead of South Korean President Moon Jae-in’s visit to Vietnam on Thursday, Mr. Tu highlighted achievements in bilateral economic ties saying that the two countries are each other’s top partners. He said President Moon’s visit takes place amidst rapid development of bilateral cooperation which has ample room for further expansion. Vietnam wants to strengthen multi-faceted cooperation while South Korea is implementing the New Southern Policy aiming to uplift South Korea-ASEAN ties. Mr. Tu expressed his belief in the success of the visit saying it will ensure bilateral ties prosper.
