Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong addresses the 14th meeting of the Anti-Corruption Central Steering Committee

Addressing the meeting, Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong praised the committee’s performance over the past five years, saying it has contributed greatly to the fight against corruption. Mr. Trong said corruption cases have decreased, thus boosting socio-economic development and strengthening public trust. The Party leader asked the Committee to effectively implement new anti-corruption regulations issued by the Party and State, to create breakthroughs in the fight against corruption at the grassroots level. He stressed the need to fine-tune institutions concerning socio-economic management and anti-corruption.
