(VOVworld)- Secretary-General of the Arab League Nabil Al Arabi said Sunday that Geneva Conference II will be held on November 23 and 24 in Geneva, Switzerland.

Arabi announced the date of the conference after meeting with the Arab League-UN envoy to Syria, Lakhdar Brahimi, at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo. Arabi admitted that there exist many difficulties in conducting this conference, but the West and the Arabs are preparing to talk with the leader of Syrian opposition forces in London on Tuesday to persuade them to join the conference.
