(VOVworld) – A seminar called Vietnam: strategic country was held in Argentina on Friday to provide Argentinean businesses with information about trade and investment opportunities in Vietnam.

International trade expert Guillermo Perez Cena reviewed Vietnam’s integration and economic development in recent years and potential products for Argentinean exporters such as animal feed, vegetable oil, cereals, meat, fruits, wine, and pharmaceutical products. Cena said two-way trade between Vietnam and Argentina has increased significantly in recent years, reaching 2.5 billion USD in 2015. A representative from the Vietnamese embassy in Argentina said Vietnam’s average economic growth now stands at 6.7% and Vietnam has many incentives for foreign investors.
