(VOVWORLD) - ASEAN and China will discuss the implementation of the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in East Sea (DOC) on Thursday in Guiyang, China.
High on the agenda will be promoting maritime cooperation and negotiations for a Code of Conduct in the East Sea (COC).

According to Chinese Foreign Ministry’s spokeperson, Hua Chunyi, China’s Vice Foreign Minister, Liu Zhenmin and senior ASEAN officials will attend the meeting which follows the 21st conference of the Joint Group on DOC implementation and they will discuss bilateral relations and cooperation in the South East Asia.
