A Lao traditional dance performance at the 2017 ASEAN village event.

The 3-day event introduced 200 pavilions of trade goods and food of ASEAN countries. During the closing ceremony, visitors enjoyed a folk dance performance.

Van Quan Phu Doan, Director of the Champa Ceramics Company, which had products on display, said: “Visitors are interested in the culture of the Cham people. Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos share similarities with the Cham culture. Over the past few days, we have promoted our ethnicity to visitors.”

The event featured folk games, hands-on craft activities, a food festival, a tourism fair, and a trade fair.
