Australian Prime Minister hails “promising signs” of better relations with China
(VOVWORLD) - Australia’s prime minister hailed “promising signs” of better relations with China on Monday, as he visited Beijing for landmark talks with President Xi Jinping.

Speaking in Beijing, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said China is Australia’s most important trading partner. He predicted a “constructive discussion” with China’s leader and lauded recently improved trade ties.
Albanese is the first Australian prime minister to visit China in seven years and his trip points toward normalization of ties between the two countries.
