(VOVworld) – Authorities have a responsibility to answer citizens’ petitions. Huynh Phong Tranh, Chief Government Inspector, said during the Sunday TV program “Citizens ask, minister answers”.

Mr. Tranh said the Law of citizen reception stipulates that authorities at all levels must spend at least one day per month responding to citizens’ complaints. According to the Law, citizens need to explain their issue clearly in order to send their petition to the correct agency. The law says functional agencies must answer directly or answer in writing.
