Belarus Prime Minister wraps up Vietnam visit

(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko and his entourage left Hanoi on Saturday, ending the four-day official visit to Vietnam at the invitation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

During his stay, Golovchenko laid a wreath and visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and the memorial to heroic martyrs in Hanoi.

He paid courtesy calls to Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and President Vo Van Thuong, held talks with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, witnessed the signing of cooperation documents between the two countries, and attended a banquet.

At meetings and talks, leaders of the two countries noted positive developments in relations between Vietnam and Belarus and expressed confidence that the visit will create new momentum to promote their traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation.

The two sides exchanged major directions, measures, and experiences to strengthen comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
