(VOVworld)- By vote of 14-5, Brazil’s Senate Impeachment Special Committee approved a 400-page report on Thursday, which recommends removing President Dilma Rousseff from office, following her suspension since May 12th.

Brazil’s Senate will now prepare for an official ouster of Rousseff by the end of August.
In the past 3 months, the Senate Committee heard the testimony of 39 defense witnesses and 4 prosecution witnesses. The committee’s report will be released at a Senate plenary session next Tuesday.
