(VOVworld) – Five Central Highlands provinces made remarkable progress in vocational training, job generation, and poverty reduction in 2013.

Head of the Central Highlands Steering Committee, General Tran Dai Quang, said this at a conference in Buon Ma Thuot city on Thursday. He noted orientations for this year: "I urge Ministries, sectors, and the administrations of Central Highlands provinces to work out action plans in order to have comprehensive leadership and implementation. They should quickly finalize plans and make recommendations to the Party and State to issue appropriate policies to boost the local economy. It’s necessary to guarantee national defense and the enforcement of policy on ethnicity and religions."
