China says it's willing to strengthen communication, dialogue with US
(VOVWORLD) - China is willing to strengthen communication and dialogue with the US, promote mutually beneficial cooperation, properly manage differences between the two sides, and make joint efforts to address global challenges, Chinese Vice President Han Zheng said on Wednesday.
Han made the remarks in his key-note speech at the sixth Bloomberg New Economy Forum held in Singapore, which runs from Wednesday to Friday.
Recent frequent high-level contacts between China and the US have raised the international community's expectations of an improvement in their ties, Han said.
China will make a greater effort to share with other countries its achievements in technological innovation and cooperate in efforts to respond to climate change, he noted.
