(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s U22 team defeated China 2-0 in Sunday’s friendly in preparation for the 30th Southeast Asian Games in the Philippines later this year.
Striker Tien Linh scored both goals. The match was broadcast live on VOV’s TV channels VTC1, VTC2, VTC8, Vietnam Journey and radio channel VOV2. It’s also available on VTC Now, VTC.VN, VOVWORLD, and VOV.VN.
China’s coach Guus Hiddink is well known for taking South Korea to the semifinals of the 2002 World Cup. Vietnam’s coach Park Hang-seo was Hiddink’s assistant in that tournament.
