(VOVworld) – China on Friday urged Malaysia’s government to release any information related to the missing Malaysia Airlines jet MH370 to help narrow the search area.

The statement was made as the searching effort has lasted for 7 days without any result. Speaking at a press conference, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said China urgently appealed to Malaysia for all information they have regarding the search. He added China will help all sides in the search to make their search more effective and accurately targeted.

In another development, Malaysian acting Transport Minister Hishammunddin Bin Tun Hussein said on Friday at a press conference that so far 13 countries with 48 airplanes and 57 ships have joined the searching work. He also affirmed that Vietnam has continuously cooperated with Malaysia in the searching effort.
