China’s PM meets with Britain’s PM

(VOVworld) – Britain’s Prime Minister David Cameron hailed an agreement reached by China and Britain on the construction of a new nuclear power plant at Hinkley Point in Somerset with Chinese investment.

Speaking at a press conference Wednesday after meetings with Chinese President Xi Jiping, Cameron said a stronger trading and economic relationships will encourage China and Britain to have frank discussions of other issues.
The two leaders discussed cyber security and human rights and sought ways for the two countries to tackle global poverty, economic development in Africa, global health, international disaster relief, and opportunities for women and girls.

Xi and Cameron then attended a business forum which saw the signing of 30-billion-pound business deal between China and the UK.
