The vessels stayed in the area for around 2 hours on Saturday before leaving. Senkaku/Diaoyu is a group of islands, 400 kilometers from the West of Okinawa prefecture, and controlled by Japan. China also claims its sovereignty over the islands and frequently sends ships and airplanes to the territorial waters.
