(VOVWORLD) -It's more than 2 weeks until Christmas, a parish on Pham The Hien Street, District 8, Ho Chi Minh City, has been decorated with ornaments.

Nguyen Duc Minh, Chairman of the Pastoral Council of Binh Thai Parish, said that the decoration of the church is almost completed as locals erected the stone caves, Christmas trees and nativity scene. During the festive season, light bulbs will be lit to make the space shimmering and colorful. At Christmas, there will be many other activities such as singing contests, going to Mass, and drawing contests for children.

Pham Ngoc Linh of Binh Thai Parish said that for Catholics, Christmas and Easter are big holidays of the year, so everyone has a joyful spirit. As the COVID-19 pandemic has subsided, everyone is trying to make their holiday beautiful and majestic.
