Colombia, Vietnam boost legislative cooperation

At a reception on Tuesday in Bogota for Vu Trung My, Vietnamese Ambassador to Venezuela and Colombia, Andrés David Calle Aguas called for cooperation between the two countries' legislative bodies as the two countries celebrate 45 years of diplomatic relations. He proposed establishing a friendship parliamentary group.

Ambassador My said he will do his best to promote friendly relations and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries, and particularly between the two legislative bodies.

Colombia is Vietnam's 5th-largest trading partner in Latin America. Trade turnover totaled 700 million USD last year.
