(VOVworld)-Many activities are taking place in Vietnam and Laos to mark the 2 countries’ Friendship Year and the 37th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam. As part of these activities, a photo exhibition, screening of documentaries, and talks were held today/Wednesday at the Lao University of Poly-technique. On addressing the talks, Nguyen Phu Hai, Vietnam’s Defense Attaché in Laos, said that Vietnam’s historic victory on April 30th reflected the strength of socialism and the spirit of the international proletariat. The photos on display and documentaries of the victory have impressed the students:"I’m very interested in documentaries about the Spring Campaign of 1975, and the revolutionary life of President Ho Chi Minh. This exhibition shows us the strength and solidarity of the Vietnamese people in their wars of resistance against invaders for national independence."
