Condolence book for Queen Elizabeth II opened in Vietnam

(VOVWORLD) -The British Embassy in Hanoi and the British Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City on Friday opened to the public a condolence book following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

The mourning book was available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and is reopened again next week from Monday to Friday at 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the British Embassy headquarters on the 4th floor, 31 Hai Ba Trung Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi and the British Consulate General's headquarters at 25 Le Duan Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

The British Government on Friday officially declared the start of a period of national mourning for Queen Elizabeth. However, there has been no official announcement on when the Queen's funeral will take place. According to Operation Unicorn, this is expected to happen on D-Day+10 (10 days on from Her Majesty's passing).
