Conference marks Russia’s October Revolution
(VOVWORLD) - A conference on the historical values of Russia’s October Revolution has been co-organized by the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, the Party Central Committee’s Commission on Communications and Education, the Theoretical Council, and the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences.

Head of the Party Commission on Communications and Education Vo Van Thuong said the Russian October Revolution lit up Vietnam’s revolutionary path and encouraged Vietnamese people to raise up to defeat feudalism and colonialism to grasp the administration.
Thuong said: “The lesson of Russia’s October Revolution and building socialism in the world and Vietnam in particularly shows that nothing can obstruct human evolution toward socialism. Russia’s October Revolution in 1917 was a breakthrough historic milestone in human history.”
Participants analyzed the historical values and impacts of the Russian October Revolution on the development of socialism, communist and workers movements, and Vietnam’s present reform.
