Conference to promote trade and export in northern midland, mountainous region to be held
(VOVWORLD) - A conference on promoting trade and export in the northern midland and mountain region will be held in Hanoi on Friday.

The upcoming conference will focus on the potentials and advantages of forming export production chains and import-export development strategies in the regions. The participants will also discuss foreign market opportunities for regional products, building border gate economic zones, modernizing logistics activities to support exports, and promoting border trade through Lao Cai and Lang Son province.
The conference will consider ways to make Son La a center in the northwestern region for farming and processing agricultural products for export, help Thai Nguyen attract foreign direct investment and develop high-tech products for export, and promote the export of agricultural and forestry products from Yen Bai and neighboring provinces.
